In this story of loss and reunion, Foo learns that love is not just about taking, but that giving love will make people less afraid ofparting.

‘My Bubble Elephant Flew Away’ is the beginning of Mao Guli's illustration journey, and she uses this story to express her determination to find her true self. The author combines her own feelings in the picture to tell a fairy tale for children, giving the bubble elephant as a gift to all children. Growing up, we all encounter love and parting, but the only thing that remains the same is the search for our inner selves.
